Not Happy

I have the iPad version of this app and basically have the same issues with that, but naievely thought that the Mac version would be better. It’s not.

Editing is tortuous, particularly with regard to song structure and how to handle playback variations such as repeats. I’ve tried dozens of times to get the playback of songs the way I want it and have tried for hours to get repeats to work with little success. Even giving up on repeats, I run into limits on song size that seem crazy small and leave me unable to enter songs. The documentation - both in the app and online - is minimal and explains little. I’ve not been able to find any useful tutorials and have spent hours looking at example songs to try to figure out how this thing works. Forum support seems decent, but I’d rather read a well-written manual or tutorial than have to go asking for help every few minutes.

Playback quality is OK, but not spectacular. There are few other features that make up for insane editor.
